![]() The train toilet can form a barrier for those wishing to travel by train as it is perceived as being dirty, and therefore its use as being unpleasant. The investigation also revealed that conversation patterns changed in some participants' practice as a result of the training. In addition, participants seemed to hold on to some of their original perceptions of good practices, such as providing positive reinforcement and modifying their physical posture to make the visitors feel comfortable. The data showed that some of topics introduced in the learner centered training, such as the importance of visitors' prior knowledge and the use of objects, were identified more often as good practice after the training. This study examined youth volunteer staff in an informal science institution that participated in a weekly one-hour training for four weeks during their eight week long summer volunteer program. Most research on training programs and professional development, that introduces learner-centered strategies examines adult teachers working in formal environments. This study explored whether this learner centered training resulted in an increased ability to identify learner-centered engagement as well as reported changes in practice. This research project examined the effects of a training program that focused on helping youth volunteers create a learner-centered interaction at an Aquarium. It is to check how memory and cognitive strategies training affect word learning of EFL intermediate learners (N = 60) who were homogenized…Įxamining learner-centered training with teen volunteer staff at an aquarium The present study was conducted to compare the effect of memory and cognitive strategies training on vocabulary learning of intermediate proficiency group of Iranian learners of English as a foreign language. Finally, the mechanical properties and training effect of the exoskeleton hand were verified through mechanism simulation and the experiments on the experimental prototype of the wearable exoskeleton hand function training device.Ĭomparative Effect of Memory and Cognitive Strategies Training on EFL Intermediate Learners' Vocabulary Learning Then driven by the device, the user's fingers conducting adduction/abduction rehabilitation training was carried out. With adjustable mechanism, the device was capable to fit different finger lengths, and by capturing the EMG of the users' contralateral limb, the motion state of the exoskeleton hand was controlled. This device includes the exoskeleton mechanical structure and the electromyography (EMG) control system. Hu, Xin Zhang, Ying Li, Jicai Yi, Jinhua Yu, Hongliu He, Rongrongīased on the structure and motion bionic principle of the normal adult fingers, biological characteristics of human hands were analyzed, and a wearable exoskeleton hand function training device for the rehabilitation of stroke patients or patients with hand trauma was designed. The participants were 21 chapter members.… This study focused on learners' e-Learning engagement in professional training in the chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD). Previous research showed that learners' reluctance in participating in e-Learning training is a major obstacle in achieving training objectives. Here we review the data on…Ī Mixed Method Case Study on Learner Engagement in e-Learning Professional Training ![]() Yet widespread acceptance of simulation should not relieve us of the duty to demonstrate if, and under which circumstances, training learners on simulation benefits real patients. Teteris, Elise Fraser, Kristin Wright, Bruce McLaughlin, Kevinĭespite limited data on patient outcomes, simulation training has already been adopted and embraced by a large number of medical schools.
